Celebrate All Things Irish In DFW

Here are a few events for those looking to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day in Dallas.

The North Texas Irish Festival The annual celebration of all things Celtic is back! Located downtown in Fair Park, this volunteer event features several stages of live music, Irish dance, vendors, food trucks, beer tents, and even a whiskey tasting area. It is relatively low cost, and on Friday night everyone entering the park between 6pm – 7pm enters FOR FREE. Family friendly.

McKinney Saint Patrick’s Day Festival & Shamrock Run 5k This is the second annual event hosted at Tupps Brewery in McKinney, TX. The brewery is the start and finish of the 5k and the free to enter celebration starts immediately after. Race packets and beer coupons can be purchased online. Family friendly.

Dallas Saint Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival This is the 40th anniversary for this FREE event. The annual parade down lower Greenville begins at 11am but arrive earlier to find a parking space. Several after-parties will take place following the parade. The event does not allow any “adult oriented” businesses to participate in order to maintain a family friendly environment.
